Short Bio

With over 20 years of experience as a graphic designer, fine artist and educator, Kathy’s artistic pursuits include teaching visual
art and design at a secondary and post-secondary level, art convention instruction, gallery showings, and creating artistic excellence through the use of various mixed mediums that extends from natural mediums to the digital platform.

Kathy has studied graphic design/package design and digital painting at George Brown College, illustration at Sheridan College and fine art and technical illustration at OACD University. In addition to her post-secondary education, Kathy holds the title of registered graphic designer from The Association For Registered Graphic Designers and is a certified acrylic painting instructor.

As she continues to upgrade her teaching and artistic abilities through workshops and programs to consistently, provide fresh teaching methods and current curriculum development.

An additional specialty that Kathy brings to the students is her knowledge in portfolio development and 100 % success rate in working with students on developing the professional portfolio for secondary and post-secondary admission requirements.

Kathy is enthusiastic about art and creativity in all forms and has been affiliated with several organizations; namely Visual Arts Mississauga, (past-chairman of the board and member) Bronte Historical Society and the Oakville Art Society (OAS).
